We're a dental office in northwest Winter Haven that keeps its schedule open for the people who need a dentist today. Toothaches, extractions, root canals, abscesses, broken and knocked-out teeth, lost crowns: all of it is treated here, in our own office, by our own dentists, usually at the first visit. The $70 is a minimum fee for patients paying without insurance. It covers a limited, problem-focused emergency exam (ADA code D0140) and the X-ray needed to diagnose the tooth. Treatment is priced separately and quoted to you in writing before any work starts.

What we do
Emergency dental care, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. That early start is deliberate: a tooth that ruined your night can be looked at before most offices in Polk County have opened. Our dentists handle extractions, root canals, abscesses, broken teeth, dental injuries, wisdom teeth and lost fillings and crowns in the office. Nothing on that list is referred out.
How we work
Every visit starts the same way: an exam of the tooth that's bothering you, an X-ray, a plain explanation of what's wrong, and a written price for the treatment. You decide before anything begins. For patients paying without insurance the exam and X-ray are $70; if you have a PPO plan we accept, they're billed to your plan. We don't publish treatment prices, because a price on a website for a tooth nobody has X-rayed is a guess.
We ask everyone to call first rather than walk in. The call is how we keep a chair open for you and have the room ready when you arrive.
Hours and the phone
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Closed Saturday and Sunday. The phone at (863) 555-0170 is answered 24/7: by our front desk during office hours, and by an answering service the rest of the time, who take your details and hold you the first opening at 8:00 AM the next business day.
Languages
Our office staff speak Spanish during office hours, on the phone and at the chair. Visits can run in Spanish from the front desk to the written price.
Insurance and payment
We accept most PPO dental plans and several Medicare Advantage plans; the full list is on the cost and insurance page. Cherry and CareCredit financing are available for patients who'd rather spread the cost out.

We opened in 2025 at 1178 Havendale Blvd NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881, on Havendale Boulevard NW just west of US 17, a short drive from downtown, Inman Park and Winter Haven Hospital. Parking on site.
