What "same-day" means at our office
It means the appointment happens today, not that you're added to a list. Our schedule keeps room for emergency patients every weekday. When you call during office hours, the front desk asks what's wrong and how long it's been going on, then gives you a time. Most patients are seen within a few hours of calling; a swollen face or a knocked-out tooth is seen sooner than a lost filling that doesn't hurt.
Because our day runs 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the earlier you call, the more choice you have. A call at 8:05 usually means a morning chair.
Why we ask you to call first
A walk-in emergency office fills its lobby and makes everyone wait. We work the other way round: the phone call is the triage. It tells us how urgent you are, lets us pull your insurance details before you arrive, and means the room, the X-ray and the dentist are ready when you walk in. If you show up without calling we'll do what we can, but we can't promise a time.

What a same-day visit costs
For patients paying without insurance, the exam and X-ray are $70. That covers finding out what's wrong. The treatment is priced separately, according to what the X-ray shows, and our dentist writes the figure down before starting. If you have a PPO plan, the exam and X-ray are billed to your plan. What to bring
Your ID, your insurance card if you have one, a list of medicines you take, and, if a tooth or a crown came out, the tooth or the crown. If you're coming for a child, a parent or guardian needs to be with them.

Tell the front desk what's wrong. If it's urgent and there's a chair, we'll see you before we close. If not, you'll be first on the schedule at 8:00 AM the next morning, and we'll tell you how to manage the pain overnight.
Do you see children the same day?
Yes. Kids with toothaches, broken teeth or knocked-out teeth are seen the same day with a parent or guardian present.
Is the same-day appointment just for the exam?
No. When the diagnosis is clear and you approve the written price, treatment happens at the same visit. A few situations, like a tooth in heavy infection, need medication first and a second visit for the procedure. We tell you which applies before you decide.
